Reporting to the Regional Nurse Manager or Director of Dialysis Services, the Dialysis RN Manager ensures the highest standards are met with financial assessments, quality assurance, patient care, risk management, team member satisfaction, quality index scores, and facility maintenance.

• Excellent communication skills both (written and oral)
• Initiate performance evaluations and take disciplinary action as necessary on employees
• Maintain open communications with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other Healthcare Professionals regarding patient care
• Keep abreast on departmental or facility-wide policy changes and ensure compliance within the department
• Responsible for ensuring that all dialysis centers remain within budgetary alignments
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems
• Must possesses strong organizational skills, leadership abilities and clinical nursing knowledge
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience required in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience
• Develops rapport with patients, family members, and hospital partners
• Facilitate on-going Nurse recruitment efforts and performance evaluations
• Proficient in MS Office Suite required
• Manage nurse schedules, assign duties, handle paperwork, and perform upkeep of all patients’ medical records
• Identify and plan prompt corrective action for any issues within the Dialysis Centers on safety measures, equipment, and systems
• Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in dialysis preferred
• Ensure all patients with guided supervision receive proper care and support
• Current CPR License required (or obtained with 60 days of hire) for direct patient care
• Must be socially perceptive and aware of the reactions of others and understanding those reactions
• Participate in Team Care Planning, Clinic CQI Programs and Risk Management
• Participates in quality improvement activities, patient care conferences and other clinical activates
• Create, implement, and administer policies, procedures, and resources to ensure safe, appropriate treatment of patients
• Manage and supervise Nursing staff within FutureCare’s Dialysis Care Centers
• Good decision making and judgment skills
• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Proven ability to manage and provide clear guidance and instructions to others
• Address and manage patient concerns with care and sensitivity in an appropriately manner
• Actively encourage and is an example of open communication between physicians, patients, and nursing staff
• Ability to learn other systems applicable to Clinical operations
