Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Therapist Job Functions Include

• Must have previous remote/virtual experience
• Ensures that patient records are accurate, comprehensive and meets regulatory standards.
• Serves as therapist in continued care and outpatient groups, as well as provide individual therapy as needed for SUD and/or mental health disorders.
• Responsible for maintaining electronic health records which include documentation of treatment activity and progress.
• Organizes and makes educational presentations related to behavioral health and recovery.
• Ensures adequate case management services are identified and addressed.
• Consults with family members and referral sources to coordinate patient care.
• Must be Maryland licensed
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an addiction counselor
• Develop patient-centered treatment plans based on results from the screening tools and bio psychosocial assessment.
• Collaborates with medical staff and treatment team.
• Evening hours 12:30-8:30p
• Provides case management services which support a positive treatment outcome.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS : Therapist I (Outpatient treatment)

• LMSW: Licensed Master Social Worker
• LGADC : Licensed Graduate Alcohol and Drug Counselor
• Must hold one of the following types of licenses in the state in which services will be provided:
• LGPC : Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
• LGSW : Licensed Graduate Social Worker

REQUIREMENTS : Therapist II (Outpatient treatment)

• LSATP : Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner
• LICSW : Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
• Must hold one of the following types of licenses in the state in which services will be provided:
• LCPC : Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
• LCSW-C : Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Certified
• LPC : Licensed Professional Counselor
• LCADC : Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor

REQUIREMENTS: SUD Counselor

• CAC-AD: Certified Associate Alcohol and Drug Counselor
• A minimum of three years supervised counseling experience.
• Strong administrative, verbal and written communication skills
• ADT : Alcohol and Drug Trainee
• CAC-II : Certified Addictions Counselor II
• CSAC : Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
• CAC-I: Certified Addictions Counselor I
• CSC-AD : Supervised Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: If disclosed that the staff is in recovery from alcohol and drug dependency a minimum of five years’ continuous sobriety is required.
