Job Description
The Staff Pad is looking for Certified Medical Assistants to work for a growing healthcare organization in Columbia, MD. Are you looking for an exciting, fast-paced position within the Healthcare industry? This is the position for you!


Compensation & Benefits:


  • Salary: $18.00 to $20.64
  • $1k sign-on bonus

Responsibilities:


  • Daily contact with patients, providers, and nursing staff
  • Performs various medical tasks including but not limited to vitals, point of care testing, outreach, medication administration, documentation etc.
  • Performs patient care from intake to exit
  • Collects and records data regarding vital signs (pulse, temperature, respirations, blood pressure, weight, height
  • Pre-visit planning: Follow up on referrals, consult notes, labs and other outside patient health records
  • Assists patients through the flow of the visit


Requirements:


  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Preferred: At least 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in a similar environment
  • Certified or registered Medical Assistant
  • CPR Certified
