Hammond Yacht Club is a private club at the Hammond marina just North of Horseshoe casino. We are seeking an in house Chef/cook to manage all aspects of our kitchen and collaboration with the bar manager.

The position of Chef in our club is a hands on, high impact, high visibility position that is responsible for enhancing our members and guest satisfaction, and dining experience through culinary creativity and food presentation. You will prepare a variety of culinary food for our members including lunch, snacks, dinner, and breakfast. Special occasions and themed meals.
The uniqueness of this position is our members. They are repeat customers you will serve week after week and you will need to have strong interpersonal and networking skills. We are looking for someone to build great relationships with members. Provide excellent elevated food quality, flavor, food presentation and culinary innovation.

A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends; excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards.

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
