Certified Hand Therapist Ot/Pt - Vero Orthopaedics

Vero Orthopaedics is seeking an energetic and motivated Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with a focus on manual skills in our Vero Beach outpatient, orthopedic clinic. The CHT will evaluate and treat patients with hand and upper extremity disorders, splint making, and wound care. Certified Hand Therapist preferred but will consider candidates with a strong interest in hand therapy or treatment of UE and hand/elbows.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate comprehensive clinical knowledge and acceptable performance in all aspects of the patient/client encounter.
• Comply with all regulatory guidance including but not limited to HIPAA, Medicare rules and billing and coding guidance.

Required Experience and Skills for Physical Therapist Position

• Willing to work towards board certification in Hand Therapy.
• Unrestricted Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist licensure to practice in State of employment required.
• CHT certification or strong interest in hand therapy.
• Motivated learner as this will be on the job training.
