Job Description

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Charlotte NC 28203

Duration: 13 weeks contract – Possible extension

Shift: 3x12s 7 p – 7 a or 7 a – 7 p ; Call Required: NO



Description:

Performs all aspects of direct respiratory care according to physician’s orders and/or approved protocols. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and makes appropriate recommendations. Provides appropriate ventilator support and maintains and monitors other cardiopulmonary life support equipment. Maintains and properly utilizes respiratory care equipment.

Required Certifications: (BLS, ACLS, PALS) – AHA , NRP, NC state RCP license

Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care. Associate’s RRT or RRT Equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: 1 + years of experience.

Department - Peds/PICU/NICU , Adult

Pay rate for local candidate: $50 t0 $55 hr. on W2.
