Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - St. Petersburg

BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at St. Anthony’s Hospital. COTA responsibilities include:

• Asssisting the Occupational Therapist with the administration of interventions utilized in occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
• May provide direct clinical supervision for Rehabilitation Technicians, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers and Fitness Specialists.
• May progress patients/residents in the treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist.

Required Certifications and Licensures

• OTA (Occupational Therapy Assistant)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education

• Associate's Occupational Therapy
• Preferred Bachelor's Occupational Therapy

Experience

• Preferred 1 year Occupational Therapy
