Job Description

Immediate opening for an experienced and passionate Director of Catering to oversee catering operations while adhering to company brand standards. Our Director of Catering needs to be able to handle operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge all while embodying and promoting Love, Energy, and Food. Director of Catering must be capable of performing at all levels in the catering and sales department. The Director of Catering oversees the catering team as well as all their duties. Priorities include the safeguardingof all existing catering accounts as well as actively soliciting new business. In this role, you will lead the catering department in building relationships to meet and exceed revenue goals. This is a full time position the individual should have a flexible schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Organization.
  • Must have the ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time. Working at Craft Food Halls Health insurance
  • Build catering menus.
  • Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work.
  • Partner with the General Managers and ensure events and BEO’s are executed properly and seamlessly.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Basic Google Workplace and Microsoft knowledge. Attributes:

  • Book events.
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Accountability.
  • Supervise food arrangement and set up.
  • Assist the marketing team to promote catering business.
  • Familiarity with building menus for events. Skills:
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
  • CRM’s or catering software experience.
  • Honesty,transparency,and trustworthiness. Physical Requirements:
  • Eagerness for listening to ideas, questions, and feedback.
  • Train team members.
  • Minimum 3 years hospitality, guest services or restaurant experience. Knowledge:
  • Basic Food and Safety knowledge.
  • Profit driving.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications.
  • Keep accurate records of expenses and revenue.
  • Awareness in common allergens and procedures.
  • Multitasking.
  • Ability to convey information effectively.
  • Coordinate and supervise the catering programs.
  • Some of the work for this position is performed in a kitchen and may require trips to a walk-in refrigeration unit and walk-in freezer unit.
  • Assist in proper execution of events.
  • Give tours of locations and discuss booking logistics, options, and menus with potential clients. Education & Experience:
  • Implement company policies regarding quality of products and services offered.
  • An amiable personality and confidence interacting with people.
  • Conduct weekly alignment meetings with catering team members.
  • Eagerness for sharing ideas, asking questions, and providing feedback.
