The Role:

As Director of Construction you will provide strategic leadership for team members to achieve set performance objectives. The role is responsible for project management, client development, sales, installation, safety, quality, regulatory, and service to customers, and cost.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the development, engineering, procurement and construction management of multifaceted renewable energy projects and a proven ability to lead, manage, and coach a team of multi-discipline professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead in the development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.
• Drive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff.
• Drive competencies to team on requirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.
• Manage the development, planning, and execution of operational Utility-scale renewable energy projects from mid-stage development through engineering, procurement, and construction according to design requirements and within established timeframe and budget.
• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
• Manage and oversee field operation and engineering processes and procedures.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Degree from a 4 year college is preferable
• Senior Project Manager: 5+ plus years of experience in a Project Management role working with utility-scale solar and/or wind
• Director: 7+ years of PM experience with at least 3 years overseeing direct reports
