Responsibilities:
  • This is a full-time role, including regular working hours as well as early mornings, evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates will have a human services background and experience working with intellectual and developmentally disabled populations.
  • Represent PCG and the client in a professional manner.
  • PCG is seeking highly motivated and dependable intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) needs assessor. Assessors will conduct Supports Intensity Scale – Adult Version™ (SIS-A)™ assessments with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities eligible to receive services from New Hampshire’s Home and Community Based Services waiver.
  • Consistency in completing and documenting assessment information.
  • Clearly communicate purpose and reason for assessment to individual and other respondents.
  • This position will be in person. We will conduct assessments in person. Some assessments may be virtual.
  • Conduct assessments timely and in a professional manner.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with person-planning concepts.
  • At least one-year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Experience conducting individual assessments with knowledge of behavior rating or psychological testing principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Sociology
  • Experience with Home and Community Based Services waivers preferred.
  • Prior experience conducting the Supports Intensity Scale assessment is preferred.

  • Knowledgeable of Person-Centered Practices.
  • Ability to consistently interact with individuals, family members, guardians, provider staff and others in an appropriate, professional, and respectful manner.
  • Solid organization and time management skills.
  • Dedication to accomplishing goals and overcoming challenges.
  • Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and/or other online data entry
Other Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation for in-person assessments.
  • Must have reliable internet connection.
  • Must be comfortable and familiar with technology including the use of virtual meeting technology (Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $50,000 - $65,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
