We are seeking a Call Center Agent to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to work in our call center and assist with a large volume of calls.

Why We Need You
As the face of VCA, the Call Center Agent sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The Call Center Agent is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
- Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
- Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.

For hourly Associates:
VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training.
Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $17.50 to $19.50 per hour.
