Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Buyer/Contract Administrator!
- Purchase IT hardware, software, and professional services
- Coordinate and stay with the regulations of USPS guidelines
- Ensure all contracts are maintained in our database with consistent naming conventions and metadata
- Create and analyze product and financial reporting for internal business partners
- Assist with office supply vendor management
- Purchase marketing and corporate printing materials
- Solicit, negotiate, analyze and awards bids to qualified vendors
- Work closely with internal business units to support the business with ongoing supplier management

Salary Range: $55,000 – $91,700 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective negotiation and decision-making skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
- Works productively independently and as part of team
- High attention to detail
- Great at relationship building
- 5-7 years procurement work experience, specifically in contract administration
