Job Details


Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize procurement and reduce costs
  • Manage the purchasing process, including identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders
  • Monitor supplier performance and develop relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations
  • Utilize ERP/MRP software to manage inventory levels and purchasing activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and develop inventory plans
  • Manage a team of supply chain buyers to ensure that purchasing activities are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Lead cost negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost savings targets
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies


Qualifications


  • Experience with ERP/MRP software, preferably SAP
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a buying or supply chain management role
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with KPI analysis
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning and inventory management principles
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
