Business Systems Support Analyst

:

The Application Specialist drives the daily support for production, maintenance, and enhancements of the software applications. In this capacity, you will actively participate in the planning and scoping of projects to recommend best practices, implement new features, and enhance existing processes in a multitude of applications to create a seamless and engaging employee experience.

This role will partner to define security strategy for software applications and maintain the project development backlog. This role must be able to work and adapt in a fluid and fast-paced environment and have a passion to learn new applications and technologies. A strong level of comfort working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority and displaying a high degree of judgment and discretion in handling sensitive data. Supporting application end users by walking through business processes, answering questions, and troubleshooting issues. Assists with updating training materials and providing training to end-users.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with SMEs, PMO, technical teams, and business process owners as needed to obtain business requirements to generate business cases for recommended application efficiencies & improvements.
• Review technology vendors and system design architecture for adherence to application architecture standards
• Ensure system documentation is accurate and maintained.
• Execute unit testing activities to validate system interface integration.
• Support the line of business by generating ad hoc reporting and providing data analysis.
• Coordinate with PMO on the implementation of new releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users.
• Manage, diagnose, and update support tickets with a level of detail and escalate issues where appropriate. IT on-call support as needed.
• Ensure all appropriate software applications remain secure and SOX-compliant.
• Provides technical leadership to all segments of business application support.
• Assist and facilitate user acceptance testing with the line of business as needed.
• Develop systems data flow diagrams.
• Leads and manages Backoffice and Store software projects utilizing multiple software applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and requests simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer, MIS or 5 years work experience.
• Business software application production support experience.
• Data integration experience a plus.

Salary: $84,000
