Technical Business Analyst Jobs

Our top financial services client is seeking multiple Technical Business Analyst to work on a multi-year modernization project updating their apps from mainframe to Java.

The ideal candidate will have experience gathering requirements, writing test cases and user stories, Analytically minded with experience using SQL queries.

Location: Tampa, FL or Jersey City, NJ - Must be local as they are hybrid on site 3 days per week

Must work w2, sorry no C2C

Business Analyst:

• Requirements gathering for business applications and app dev projects
• SQL database query
• Writing test cases and user stories
• Analytical + business writing skills
• Understands data and business requirements, comes up with functional design and requirements to be delivered
• Analytical skills

Description

• Participate in the estimation of resource needs and schedule of work through interactions with related stakeholders
• Collaborate with project team, product management, and stakeholders on assigned aspects of the project
• Experience working with co-located and offshore teams
• Provide input to developers and Test Engineers to ensure System Integration and User Acceptance Test scripts properly reflect business and functional requirements
• Contribute to the creation of functional specifications by analyzing business requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams
• Experience with executing SQL queries and understanding the underlying structure of the most common SQL tables will be given preference is required.
• At least 5 years working as a Business Analyst in an IT environment
