Job Description
IOA is on the forefront of revolutionary healthcare models, reshaping the way people can age in place. With over 23 programs, we offer multiple ways to aid seniors maintain their health, well-being, independence and participation in the community, fulfilling our mission.
Reporting to IOA’s Sr. Director of BI, the BI Developer will develop deep data expertise, optimize processes and will be an integral part of the development of the Data Warehouse. This position improves processes that support analytics and reporting for the entire organization, and it requires a combination of technical and business analysis skills.
Other key duties include:
  • Gain expertise in back-end data from EHR systems and other data sources (tables and their relationships)
  • Manage multiple priorities and proactively communicate issues to Director
  • Report design and development in SSRS
  • Develop new process and DW documentation
  • Write complex SQL to automate data metrics for dashboard reporting
  • Create and modify DW Views for ease of reporting
  • Update and maintain existing data process documentation
  • Creating and modifying DW Views for BI reporting
  • Develop and execute BI data load processes; future projects include optimization of those processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in an effective manner
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare data management
  • Expertise with data management concepts such as data lineage/lifecycle and data warehousing
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science
  • Ability to see organizational perspective and strategic view
  • Technical skills: Intermediate to Advanced level skills in Microsoft suite of products
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving competencies
  • Advanced SQL Management Studio and SQL query experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATION
  • Home Health Electronic Health Record system experience
  • NetSuite or Financial system experience
  • Experience with SSRS report development
