BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Division: Unical 145
Location: 7717 E Ray Road, Mesa AZ
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business Development Specialist is directly responsible for generating revenues through developing a new pipeline in direct sales of aerospace parts. In addition to direct selling, the Business Development collaborates on marketing strategies, sales presentations, and proposal writing, and assists with documenting sponsor agreements.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements sales strategies and action plans, including developing and presenting briefings to secure NEW business for the commercial and military aftermarket segment.
- Maintains an extensive network of industry contacts (suppliers, customers, competitors) in the target market to retain and capture new business.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers to gain knowledge of the future market and customer needs, recommending in-country component capability needs to continuously grow the business.
- Research customer requirements and translates them into development opportunities.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars, reviewing trade and technical publications, establishing professional networks, participating in professional associations, and attending industry trade shows.
- Responsible for reaching Sales targets for its divisions including MRO facilities.
- Holds regular meetings with the team to develop strategic and tactical plans, and to monitor customer and competitor status.Stays in close contact with division teams to enable rapid turnaround solutions.
- Develops relationships necessary to better understand the customer's needs and decision-making processes.
- Develops and implements divisional, market, and regional aftermarket strategies.
- Conveys the company's interests to the customer and the customer’s requirements to company management.
- Develops and manages proposals and contracts to attract the customer
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars, reviewing trade and technical publications, establishing professional networks, participating in professional associations and attending industry trade shows.
- Manages and participates in the development of proposals, and contract and negotiates business agreements.
Qualifications:
- Dynamic self-starter, with great problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/professional experience required.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Adept analytical skills and project planning/management experience
- Experience negotiating MSA agreements helpful
- 5+ years of overall experience in the aerospace/manufacturing service
- Strong computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on superior Excel skills

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to follow through on client contracts

Physical Demands:
Ability to constantly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend, for extended periods. Occasional lifting requirement up to 50 lbs. Able to operate machinery where needed.

Momentary exposure to high noises.
Exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents.
Personal Protection Equipment will be required for certain tasks.
Travel:
Domestic and international travel will be required as part of the role.
