Job Description
Business Development Manager will manage and expand our Quick Service Restaurant customer base through the introduction of new products or solutions. Expansion of customer base will include new customers as well as expanding existing current customer relationships. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will manage a small team of custom support specialist.
  • Work with internal teams to execute new product launches on time to the customer
  • Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods
  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • Build sales strategies and market research to identify new solutions and or customers
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Create strong relationships with key customers at both senior and mid-management levels and identify solutions for potential customers.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process, and current partnerships
  • Train and mentor direct reports to improve sales goals and meet expectations
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring, competition and supply & demand
  • Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
Requirements
  • Ability to deal effectively with time pressures, stress, and changing demands of job on a regular basis
  • Understanding of how to position products against competitors
  • Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage competing priorities, ability to multitask
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
  • Ability to handle highly confidential business information
  • Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience preferred in marketing, sales or business administration.
  • Degree in Packaging or Engineering with Packaging Experience.
  • 5+ years of product development experience and or Key Account management experience required, preferably within the packaging industry.
