We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. To be successful, this person will possess outstanding B2B software sales experience, proven strategic analysis and a passion for technology, new systems, and innovative business solutions. The ideal candidate will possess both an account management and technical background, to drive engagement with decision-makers and influencers.
Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert on our product solutions, the needs of our customers and remain up to date on industry news
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Develop goals for and with the business team and ensure they are met
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Contact customers to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Collaborate with our Customer Success team to ensure contracted product requirements and specifications are defined and documented correctly
- Develop quotes and proposals for customers
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to Glympse stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Excellent organizational skills
- 5+ years software sales experience and demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- Excellent communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
The base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 plus commission.
- Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
