Job Description
  • A Building Automation Engineer, also known as, HVAC Controls Tech, Project Engineer, or Controls Engineer, works directly on the Maintenance team on proper function of complex building automation systems, and a major role in executing Work Orders and preventive Maintenance tasks, ordering of components, and jobsite coordination with technicians and sub-contractors.
  • Leads, directs, and teaches BAS system operators with solutions to systems problems, either troubleshooting the system or advise others on how to resolve problems.
  • Diagnose and repair routine electronic control system malfunctions.
  • Manage assigned work to meet professional execution, time, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Report problems or changes to management immediately.
