Job Description
Job Summary:
The Broker Relationship Manager is a key role responsible for driving account growth, cross-sales and retention. This position will partner with the Sales team to assist in the new sale process and own the ongoing customer experience to help solidify our broker and customer relationships. The ideal candidate thrives on building long-term relationships, has an extensive background in the employee benefits industry and working with brokers and executes with a customer-centric focus.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage broker and customer relationships to effectively position LegalShield as a market leader in product and service.
  • Meet re-enrollment objectives by identifying opportunities within existing block and successfully positioning our communication capabilities with broker and customer contacts. Discuss and share the various marketing and communication resources available to further drive the value of our products.
  • Meet cross-sale deliverables by identifying existing one-product customers and relaying effective rationale for offering both coverages.
  • Meet customer retention goals by proactive communication and successful delivery of above listed responsibilities.
  • Effectively and efficiently own the overall broker/customer relationships and day-to-day service experience. Address escalated concerns to advocate on behalf of the member/customer.
  • Participate in first sale efforts including finalist meetings, implementation process, enrollment meetings/benefit fairs and related service activities.
Skills/Requirements
  • Highly effective public speaker and verbal communicator
  • 3 - 5+ years of employee benefits and broker experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Efficient time management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote work environment
