Brand Manager, Shopper Marketing
Duration: 3 months
Location: Remote, US Only
Job Summary:
The Brand Manager, Shopper Marketing will be a key contributor to the overall brand team. This role is responsible for implementing annual shopper marketing plans, nationally and for customized key accounts.
:
• Assist in strategic development and planning of National Shopper Campaigns for all snack brands (i.e. Fall Football, Holiday, Superbowl, March Madness, and more), including brief-writing, shopper insights, budgeting and analyses of past campaigns.
• Oversee execution of National shopper marketing plans, including overseeing the creative approval process, facilitation of legal review, budget tracking, and vendor management.
• Lead, develop, and execute Coupon Strategies, including redemption analysis, digital coupon execution, budgeting, and coordination with key account Trade Plans.
• Manage select Direct key accounts within the Grocery Channel: (Safeway/Albertsons, AHOLD, Shoprite, HEB, Meijer and Hyvee) & Drug Channel (Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS).
• Conduct post-program analysis, providing recommendations for optimizations, and communicate key learnings to broader sales and leadership teams.
• Manage & Coordinate Programs with Shopper Agency of Record
• Identify, vet, and recommend new Test & Learn opportunities for the Shopper Teams
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum level of education required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred
• 2-3 years of Shopper or Commerce Marketing, CPG and/or Sales Experience a PLUS.

• Must have outstanding interpersonal skills, and be able to lead cross functional teams, and work collaboratively with multiple internal and external team members.
• Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with a wide and diverse range of audiences, ranging from internal senior level managers to line managers, as well as analytical people.
• Must develop internal relationships, demonstrate team-building attitude, be cooperative, convey a sense of urgency and show a willingness to listen to suggestions from others.
• Must be organized and able to solve problems systematically.
• Must possess excellent computer skills and advanced Excel, PowerPoint, email, word processing and database skills.
• Must be willing to take responsibility for activities and projects outside of primary job description.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Business Oriented, strategic thinker with ability to implement decisions quickly and efficiently.
• Highly Organized and able to solve problems systematically.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES (Specialized education, specific software experience, etc.)
• Familiarity with traditional consumer research methodologies
• Knowledge of IRI or Nielsen data preferred.
• Experience working with agencies (advertising, media, shopper, etc.).
Compensation: $35-50/hr
