Job Description

At EA SPORTS, we don’t just make the best sports games in the world. We create immersive experiences for sports fans to shape the future of sports entertainment and participation. The EA SPORTS brand team is building a roster of dynamic business leaders who will advocate for this new era of fan experiences. As the Brand Manager, Marketing - EA SPORTS, you will help evolve the expression of the brand. You will steward and improve the brand, internally and externally, through cross-platform storytelling and the creation of new programs for the brand strategy. You will promote sports fans and athletes and improve how they discover, connect, engage and participate in sports. We are open to remote candidates or those in proximity to an existing Electronic Arts office or studio located in Vancouver or Orlando.

  • You have authored compelling marketing briefs have led to industry-leading work and KPI performance.
  • Familiarity with the cross-section of sports, technology, culture and gaming
  • You have partnered with all partners and agencies to concept and implement creative ideas.

    • 5+ years in a primary marketing discipline including managing campaigns, content strategy or editorial marketing

    • 3+ years developing end-to-end consumer journeys.

  • You will…

    • Develop a cross-channel evergreen, editorial content strategy and plan that engages a broad-ranging community of sports fans.

    • Manage and propose new programs that improve internal and external perceptions of the EA SPORTS brand.

    • Partner with SPORTS brand leadership to develop campaigns for new EA SPORTS product launches, lighthouse technologies, cross-sport activations, brand and talent partnerships and tentpole sports culture moments.

    • Manage a cross-sport EA SPORTS brand calendar establishes an editorial view for how and where EA SPORTS’ biggest stories show up across the calendar year.


      Your Qualifications

    • You have managed successful campaigns in sports, that inspire important brand measures, specifically community growth and engagement.

    • You understand how to use the power of storytelling to build community, create demand and improve the brand.

    • You have developed campaign reports and understand how to improve strategies and plans for better performance.

      The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
      EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
      BASE SALARY RANGES
      • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
      º $113,300 - $171,700
      • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
      º $111,500 - $171,700
      • Jersey City, NJ :
      º $126,700 - $171,700
      • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
      º $111,500 - $144,000
      • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

      Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
