Boat Broker Sales Professional

Boater's World Marine Centers is looking for a polished and experienced boating, RV, motorsports industry Sales Professional for our new Texas location.

If you have been in the Boat, RV, Motorsports industry for several years and have a proven successful sales record, then this could be the position for you.

The Boat and Yacht Sales Professional at Boater’s World Marine Centers sells new and used boats from our massive inventory via inbound telephone calls, walk-in customers, and internet leads. The Sales Professional will show boats of interest to prospective buyers at our Marina location in Grand Prairie, follow-up, quote, and close a high volume of deals, in a professional and efficient manner.

Excellent earning potential for an experienced Boat Sales Professional. Base plus commissions. Most salespeople are earning six figures due to significant demand and our huge inventory of new and used boats.

Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:

Sales

• Maintain constant flow of prospects into and out of the sales funnel
• Take ownership of the sales process from initial call to post-sale follow-up
• Successfully close sales transactions that benefit the customer, business, and salesperson
• Fulfill customer inquiries and follow-up as appropriate
• Accurately enter sale into dealer management system (Lightspeed), and process appropriate paperwork
• Assists and guides customer inquiries that lead to increased sales revenue

Customer Service

• Create and strengthen relationships with customers by creating a customer-centric experience
• Assist all customers in need, regardless of department (sales, service, or parts)
• Enhances organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value
• Inform management of customer service opportunities
• Maintain a tidy workspace

Requirements

• Strong computer usage ability (Lightspeed preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of boats, motors, and general marine products
• Must be a team player
• The position in Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week
• Must be highly motivated to increase sales and generate profit by offering Marine F&I and extended warranty products and services.
• Minimum of 1 years\ of boat sales experience including boat deliveries to customers
• Proven sales ability and track-record in a similar industry

Working Conditions

• Will require extensive use of telephone and computer system
• May be required to work more than 40 hours, weekends, and holidays
• Shop/office environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
