Mechanic Jobs

Major Responsibilities: In addition to working safely, the employee must also be able to:

• Performs routine maintenance on all equipment, machinery, buildings and grounds.
• Performs routine repair and maintenance of refrigeration and electrical systems.
• Assists skilled maintenance men in performance of their duties.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
• Capable of being able to participate on company Emergency Response Team, including passing physical and obtain skills and training necessary to be qualified as an Emergency Response Technician and Incident Commander but not limited to being clean shaven with no facial hair that could interfere with a respirator.
• Performs welding and torch cutting as needed.

Position Requirements: In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following qualifications:

• Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in welding and torch cutting ability.
• Must have ability to work long hours and willingness to work various shifts
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• May be required to work Holidays or weekends
• Must be able to work in an area that requires hearing protection.
• Must be capable of acquiring knowledge of refrigeration, electricity, plumbing and general mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to climb a ladder
• Pay Rate: $21.14
• Must have ability to work in emergency situations under adverse conditions.
• Must be able to work in wet/humid conditions.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach and lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds
