What You'll Do
Analyze attendance/case note/ISP billing data entered in the EHR and collaborate with agency Operations and Finance teams to ensure accuracy.
Work alongside the Intake/Eligibility Analyst to ensure the accuracy of service authorizations.
Identify and resolve service authorization errors in partnership with the Intake/Eligibility Analyst and payer case managers.
Take charge of approving service authorizations in the EHR system.
Handle the billing process and submit claims for eligible and authorized services promptly.
Investigate and efficiently resolve open aged receivables.
Detect and address claim payment discrepancies by liaising with payer provider advocates for a speedy resolution.
Thoroughly document all collection efforts in accordance with Mosaic policy and procedure.
Ensure that Therap claim templates are accurately updated with the appropriate services, funding agency, and provider information.
Maintain up-to-date internal tracking systems in partnership with the Intake/Eligibility Analyst to keep all service authorizations current.
Create and maintain standard work documentation for all assigned tasks.
Take charge of agency desktop deposits and manual billing uploads, including 4935 uploads.
Guarantee compliance with all state and federal regulatory billing requirements.
Participate in Mosaic projects as needed, bringing your valuable insights and skills to the table.
