Billing Specialist Jobs

National law firm located on the South Shore/Boston line has a Billing Specialist position immediately available to join our Accounting Department.We seek an intelligent, reliable, motivated self-starter who has 1-2 years of Accounting/Billing experience and strong computer skills.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Monthly billing
• Assist the Firm’s Controller and Billing Manager with projects as needed
• Assist other members of the Accounting Department as needed with electronic billing
• Processing accruals and write-offs

Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and prior time and billing program experience is required.(Prior experience with ProLaw or similar will be strongly preferred.)Excellent proofreading skills are also required.Additionally, must be able to multi-task successfully on a regular basis, handle a large volume of client invoices, work well under pressure and meet deadlines, be a flexible team player and have strong attention to detail.

An Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is also required.
