- Provide support and coverage to the Office Manager as needed.
- Other duties as assigned within scope of work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Certification in Secretarial Sciences preferred.
- Assist Director and other clinical staff as needed.
- Must be computer literate and have good typing skills.
- Two year's experience working in a fast pace Business/Human Services office preferred.
- Must have effective oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain responsibility of keeping all relevant forms and reports (i.e. case management) current and accurate.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- If in personal recovery, a minimum of 2-year continuous abstinence.
- Filing, answering phones and data entry.
- Treats patients, and colleagues with dignity and respect; honors each person’s right to privacy/maintains very strict patient and colleague confidentiality; respects all individual differences; supports cultural diversity.
- Insurance knowledge a plus.
- Familiarity of geographical locations of clients and assigned routes.
- Proven strong Customer Service skills.
- Ensure that Client Information Packets are accessible to clients.
- Ability to multi-task a must.
- Verify insurance benefits for patients and schedule patient sessions.
- Perform all general office and reception duties including telephone work, typing, photocopying, faxing, filing, and ordering of office supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with collection of co-pays and deductibles.
- Maintain billing as required.
- Consistently documents time in Worforce and Ultipro; adheres to attendance policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hectic environment.
