Who You Are

The Contracts Specialist will provide support and assistance to the Manager of Legal Operations in facilitating the management of legal agreements, associated documents and other related requirements throughout the revenue and procurement contract lifecycle. Additional requirements include providing support to the sales and sales enablement teams with certifications, insurance forms and other documentation necessary to complete revenue transactions and RFP/RFI requests.

This opportunity is a Temporary 1099 Contract role.

What You Will Be Doing?

• Support sales enablement in bid response preparation and contractual compliance requests
• Assist with project initiatives to streamline new or existing corporate and legal practices e.g., developing playbooks and policies.
• Ensure accurate signature process and post-signature processing of agreements
• Providing end-to end transaction support for low complexity contracts, for both buy and sell side transactions, from review, redline and negotiation, through signature, in accordance with company policies and established risk tolerance parameters
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records within SFDC and Sharepoint; store and save contracts and associated documentation in accordance with retention policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Management and other stakeholders as necessary to ensure that contractual arrangements adequately protect Critical Start’s interests

What You Will Bring?

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail, ability to stay organized when faced with tight timelines and competing priorities
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to forge relationships with internal clients and outside contracting party representatives. Excellent collaboration skills and consistency on communications are essential.
• Experience with both buy and sell side transactions for SaaS offerings and professional services
• A pragmatic customer-centric attitude, strong problem-solving skills and cooperative team focus
• Skill in a digital environment: proficiency with MS Office applications - redlining with MS Word is needed skill; experience with Salesforce and Docusign a plus.
• 1+ years commercial contract negotiation and administration experience, preferably in a technology company

Education

Bachelor’s or Associate's degree with an emphasis in business, finance or accounting

Compensation

The hourly compensation range being offered for this role is [$22-26/hr].
