Job Description
We are seeking a Legal-Contract Specialist to join our Legal Department. As a member of the team, you will work under the supervision and direction of the Counsel and have substantial involvement with our customers and business managers.
Responsibilities Include
  • Understanding and applying legal principles for various forms of agreements and document preparation, with attorney guidance as required.
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting terms and conditions for agreements with customers, including change orders, and other forms of agreements, with attorney support as required.
  • Administering the contract approval process and coordinating with cross-functional team members to ensure terms and conditions reflect corporate standards and practices.
  • Coordinating insurance matters
  • Identifying non-standard terms/conditions in commercial purchase orders and other contract documents and editing them to comply with internal risk control guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of contract administration experience with well-developed skills involving legal issues and negotiations.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate (in both face-to-face meetings and in written format).
