Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA requirements
• Submit accurate and timelybillingto Medicaid, commercial insurance, and early intervention CCBs.
• Accurately review and verify eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements for Medicaid and commercial insurance.
• Analyze and reconcile billing and payment discrepancies
• Follow up with insurance providers and patients to ensure timely payments and resolvebillingissues.
• Attend weekly admin andbillingmeetings.
• Support the agency's revenue cycling process by submitting, tracking, and monitoring outstanding claims, authorizations, appeals, and denials

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurances billing and collections
• Experience with electronic billing software
• Knowledge of revenue cycling processes and metrics
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED required; specialized training or certification in medical billing preferred
