You are responsible for

• Adhering to reimbursement standards and expectations.
• Performing reimbursement services and charge entry in accounts receivable operations.
• Resolving claim rejections from insurance providers.
• Entering demographic and charge information to bill claims to payors.
• Following internal processes as well as meeting or exceeding monthly quality and productivity standards.
• Identifying and bringing reoccurring issues to the attention of leadership.
• Verifying insurance eligibility via online portals.
• Submitting payer questions as needed.

You are part of

Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) is part of the Philips Connected Care business cluster. Philips BioTelemetry is part of the AM&D business and provides remote cardiac monitoring services for more than one million patients per year. Philips acquired BioTelemetry in early 2021. The combination of Philips and BioTelemetry results in a global leader in patient care management solutions for the hospital and the home, a leading U.S.-based provider of remote cardiac diagnostics and monitoring.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• Proven customer service skills for internal/external partners for discussion, problem solving and follow up
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, positive attitude, accountable, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, punctual, takes initiative to complete assigned tasks, ability to multi-task
• Ability to type, navigate the internet and perform computerized note taking and processing in multiple internal systems
• High school diploma or GED (required), Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and experience in Billing or Accounts Receivable (required)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and e-mail systems
• Knowledge and understanding of insurance/insurance verification and payers (required)
• Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external parties
