The Benefits Implementation Consultant will be responsible for providing consulting and implementation services to clients who have purchased employee benefits software solutions. You will work closely with clients, brokers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth implementation of benefits software and a successful transition from their previous systems. You will be responsible for managing projects, providing guidance, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

Responsibilities include:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in benefits administration and apply that knowledge to improve implementation processes and client outcomes
  • Partner with our EDI and ACA teams to ensure accurate data integrity and work through any adjustments required to completion
  • Work with clients and brokers to understand their current benefits’ administration processes and business requirements
  • Train clients in how to use the benefits software and ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their benefits administration processes
  • Provide ongoing support to clients after implementation to ensure their continued satisfaction with the benefits software
  • Configure the benefits software according to client requirements and specifications
  • Test the benefits’ software configuration to ensure accuracy and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during implementation

The Ideal Person for the Job:

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Computer Science, or related field) or its equivalent in education and experience
  • Experience with benefits software implementation and configuration
  • Five (5) plus years’ experience in the HCM industry, including full understanding of Healthcare Benefit Terminology (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, 401k, COBRA, and Flex Plans) Required
  • Two (2) plus years’ experience with one or more programming languages (SQL, JavaScript, GitHub and or Kettle Data Integration) Required
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop creative solutions
