Position Summary
Manager/Director, Benefits temporary role to cover five month employee leave - focused skill set on health and welfare plans, including absence and leave, global benefits in Canada, EU and India, Workday experience preferred
  • Huron requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
  • In-depth health benefits and disability/leave/ADA experience, including plan design, vendor management, program communication and change mangement
  • Design and management of well-being programs in collaboration with Employee Experience, ERG groups, HRBPs and others
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leads benefits benchmarking and survey completion and interpretation.
  • Ensures compliance with IRS and DOL rules and regulations
  • Designs global benefits framework and country-specific plan designs, focused on Canada, EU, India, and Singapore
  • Ensures delivery of consistent, competitive, employee-focused benefits experience as part of Huron's EVP and corporate values.
  • Prepares benefits presentations for leadership and Board of Directors
  • 3+ years benefits supervisory experience
  • Drives contract and renewal negotiations in partnership with contracted benefits consultant
  • 8 + years of Human Resources-related experience, specifically with managing employee benefits programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Designs three-to-five-year global benefits strategy.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across team members and departments, such as Compensation, Employee Experience, Legal, Finance, Business Partners and others
  • Develops and interprets benefits financials and data analytics, as well as developing KPIs
  • Prioritizes and provides business case for program enhancements.
  • Manages and advice on escalated benefits issues
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Global benefits design, delivery and management
  • Strong benefits technical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing HRIS for benefits, with Workday experience strongly desired.
  • Proven ability to identify, research and implement benefit enhancements that will support Huron's Employee Value Proposition to attract and retain key talent.
  • Proven track record in identifying process improvements to achieve efficiencies and team success.
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA and employee leave regulations and accommodations, including business partnership
Qualifications
