Job title: Analyst, Cust Contract
Job Location: Vernon Hills IL- 60061
Job Duration: 12 months (Possible extension – If there is any business need)
Pay Rate- 26/hr. on W2
Shift: - M to F 8am to 5pm
Yes, 5 days a week, in the office full time until trained then the option to WFH 2 days a week
Responsible for (a) the development of financially viable agreements in support of divisional sales and profit goals; (b) evaluating and processing field transactions (c) administration of contract membership eligibility; (d) pricing dispute resolution related to GPO membership eligibility and (e) maintaining the contracts files and the associated systems. Coordinate with the Sales Force (including TMs, DMs and RMs), the Directors of National Accounts, Health Systems Vice Presidents, Strategic Customer Vice Presidents, and Contract Offer Development team on the effective implementation of complex, critical contracting membership activities which manage business opportunities appropriately. Support the Sales Force with field transactions such as pricing inquiries, quotations, trade-outs, pricing discrepancies, IDN transitions, and other various ad-hoc requests. May require other duties as deemed appropriate by manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support and propose continuous process/system improvement initiatives across the Commercial Contract Operations teams while playing an active role on workstream teams and projects
- Be accountable for key metrics; KPI’s (key performance indicators), SLA’s (service level agreements), and IIG’s to meet the strategic goals of the organization
- Accurately create and maintain individual/group pricing contracts in pricing system, to ensure customers are billed correctly.
- Consolidate department data, number of contracts, field transactions and sales value of specific groups when needed
- Ad hoc projects, as needed.
- Assist with researching price discrepancies and issuance of invoice credits.
- Create department processes (DTPs) to assist in ensuring standardization and efficient contracting policies, procedures, and processes to harmonize all aspects of operations with the appropriate flexibility to meet customer/market needs and dynamics across all business offerings
- Ability to resolve any customer pricing related issues and proactively perform sales analysis when necessary
- Manage all GPO migrations/transitions based on policy and customer designation
- Train new associates (to include but not limited to system training and overall job responsibility training)
- Identify and understand key areas of change management with the ability to recognize and communicate the impact of change to Contract Operations
- Maintain group membership in pricing system to ensure customers are billed correctly
- Organize and maintain files, both electronic and hard copies when necessary
- Organize and respond to Price Activations (PA's) and Letter of Designation (LOD) requests per GPO clients to ensure appropriate eligibility to GPO contracts based on business strategy and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with Contract Offer Development team and sales managers, ensuring proper documents/signatures are in place before contracts are executed in pricing engine
Qualifications
- Analytical problem solver with the ability to evaluate key business drivers and develop clear solution recommendations
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage a variable workload and meet schedules with accurate results
- 2 years contracts experience / or minimum of business experience
- Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented and analytical.
- Must have the ability to work professionally in person, via email, and over the phone.
- Strong Excel & Microsoft Suite skills
- Must be a decision maker, effective communicator, and a self-motivated team player.
- BS in Business or equivalent business experience preferred.
- Knowledge of i5 and JD Edwards software preferred.
- Innovative thinker with ability to drive change and effectiveness through automation and process excellence
- 1-year finance and/or customer service experience preferred
