Bar Back/Steward Jobs

The Bar Back/Steward assists servers and bartenders in cleaning up and setting up tables and completing guest requests. Deliver all steps of service according to Four Seasons standards including but not limited to providing water, clearing and crumbing table, etc. per respective specifications. Make guests feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of. Anticipates guest needs to ascertain satisfaction and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. Completes side work, maintain assigned section with urgency.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

• Flexible schedule; ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior bar/restaurant experience , preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
