Summary
ABOUT US
Founded by Spanish-born Cristobal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the iconic French fashion house defined the concept of modernity and elegance through the mastery of techniques and the use of innovative fabrics.

With the appointment of Demna as artistic director of the collections in 2015, he continues to uphold the vision of Cristobal Balenciaga through his exquisite techniques, masterful cuts and by constantly pushing boundaries.

Balenciaga offers women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, eyewear and a fragrance for women, subsidiary of Kering.

We are currently seeking a Finance Intern who will report to the FP&A Manager.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
This opportunity will provide you with insight into the NY luxury fashion industry as well as an understanding of our corporate culture and business practices.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Reporting Analysis – opex
  • Assist with monthly close review
  • Forecasting and budgeting - Opex
  • Assisting the FP&A manager with the following tasks:
    • Reporting Analysis – opex
    • Forecasting and budgeting - Opex
    • Preparation of reporting decks
    • Upload of forecast and budget
    • Assist with monthly close review
    • Meeting notes/recap
  • Meeting notes/recap
  • Preparation of reporting decks
  • Upload of forecast and budget
WHO YOU ARE
  • Finance experience is preferred
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with numbers and recaps
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Detail-oriented and task driven
  • Problem solver
  • Able to receive academic credit
COMPENSATION
  • $15 per hour
  • Must be able to receive academic credit to be eligible
