Job Description
Action Nissan seeks a dynamic and high-performing General Manager to lead and develop our rapidly growing team in Nashville, TN. The General Manager will drive sales through effective and value-centered leadership. This pivotal position involves overseeing all operational aspects of the dealerships, ensuring productive staffing, fostering employee development, maximizing profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and providing customer retention. The successful candidate will also consistently achieve performance metrics and safeguard the business's financial assets.

Responsible for the Following Results:


  • Customer Relations: Build a superior reputation among customers and the community, fostering a loyal and growing owner base.
  • People Management: Cultivate a competent, motivated, and stable staff of automotive professionals.
  • Asset Management: Maintain a competitively positioned, clean, safe, secure, and environmentally responsible facility within budgetary guidelines and fully comply with all internal, brand, manufacturer, and regulatory standards.
  • Manufacturer Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with Representatives, achieving expected performance standards.
  • Financial Management: Consistently achieve performance metrics and protect the business's financial assets.

Qualifications:


  • Strong leadership skills, including leading outstanding customer service and high employee engagement programs and systems.
  • A college degree or at least 5 years of automotive management experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficiency in automotive systems like Dealertrack, Reynolds and Reynolds, Auto, Vin Solutions, etc.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • A proven track record of creating a safe and positive work climate that empowers employees to excel and grow.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.


As part of the role, the General Manager will be expected to provide a comprehensive written plan on how they intend to drive Action Nissan's team's performance into the future.
