Automotive Office Assistant
Full-Time Position
Experience Required
Ford of Murfreesboro is seeking an experienced automotive Office Assistant for our busy dealership. Applicant must be able to work at a fast pace with minimal errors, multi-task, and be a dependable team player. Experience in an automotive environment is recommended.

The Office Assistant is responsible for helping with accounts receivables/payables, scanning and filing, processessing dealer trades and wholesales, researching any anomalies on the schedules, helping with the processing of tags and titles for all vehicles, and any other duties assigned by the controller or office manager. The ideal candidate will be energetic and professional with a strong desire to succeed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Issue checks to tag Registration Offices for fees due and refund checks to customers as required.
  • Accurately record and file completed vehicle sales deals.
  • Sending titles to auctions or other dealerships as required.
  • Calling banks and/or auctions to locate missing titles.
  • Maintain strict compliance with all Title laws and filing requirements.
  • General accounting tasks and related skill.
  • Breaking down deal jackets and sending the contracts with correct paperwork to financial institutions.
Requirements:
  • Effective Communication Skills.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experience working in an office is required - experience in a franchise Dealership preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter and ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening to include MVR, background, credit check and drug screen.
