Salary Range: $90k-$110k+ (Depending on experience)
What You Will Be Doing
The Logistics Manager is responsible for all the planning, direction, and coordination of transportation activities to support our unique logistical requirements. The Logistics Manager also works with the manufacturing operations to ensure accurate production reporting and provide necessary training where required. These activities include all material and product related domestic and international transportation.

• Coordinate and provide the best cost-effective routes
• Resolve claim issues as necessary
• Ensure transportation activities are compliant with State and Federal regulations including US Customs and Homeland Security
• Negotiate the best rates among transportation and logistics costs
• Provide shipping process documentation
• Develop and measure key performance metrics related to transportation and logistics
• Train plant superintendents on usage and understanding of MAPS systems
• Coordinate and direct physical inventory resources for all WIP and finished good areas.
• Develop, monitor, and audit the production reporting reconciliation process for transfers, barcodes, scrap, and work center accuracy
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the transportation and logistics of materials and products (Domestic and International)

What You Need for this Position

• APICS or other similar certifications *Bonus*
• 3+ years of progressive positions in Materials Planning and Logistics, or supply chain
• Bachelor's degree *Bonus*
• Automotive Industry experience *Bonus*
• 5+ Years of Logistics Experience
