This partner will help shape the future for retail partners; creating strategies for how we will deliver the partner experience through staffing and scheduling. The team is responsible for consulting on, enabling, and leading work for North America and Canada, leveraging an operational lens to directly impact retail partners' experience through staffing and scheduling. We are seeking a candidate who is innately curious, creatively solution-oriented, and willing to develop clarity from ambiguity.


The successful candidate must know how to: create structured presentations illustrating key business issues, new insights, and recommendations. This partner will be supporting and leading strategic projects within the staffing and scheduling space, including identifying key issues, data analysis, developing the problem-solving approach, managing cross-functional relationships, and developing and communicating management-level recommendations.


As an associate strategy manager, you will…


  • Organize assigned portions of problems and projects into logical components, organize a robust work plan, and develop a problem-solving approach
  • Financial and data analysis, with support, utilizing disparate information from multiples sources to support problem identification
  • Lead projects, partnering cross-functionally to design processes and offer strategic problem-solving support to drive and represent an aligned strategic approach


We’d love to hear from people with…


  • 3 years of Project management skills for large and complex problems
  • Undergraduate degree or MBA Preferred
  • Experience creating & delivering management-level presentations
  • Data analysis and project management capabilities
  • Experience with Microsoft suite
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity and strategy in new/undiscovered spaces
  • Experience or interest in retail operations
  • 5 years of general business experience in large, multi-disciplinary organizations
  • Experiencing understanding, managing, and cultivating their stakeholder communities



Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities


  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights
  • Ability to positively contribute, lead, and develop cross-functional teams
  • Ability to present complicated material to various audiences in a concise and effective way
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
  • Ability to simplify and structure complex and ambiguous problems
  • Data analysis (financial, sales, operational, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
