Qontigo is seeking a qualified professional to join our Equity Product Specialist team as a full-time employee, based in our New York office. The ideal candidate for this role is an energetic quantitative professional looking for an exciting and dynamic role supporting investment professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and involve additional subject matter experts to ensure clients have answers to important questions in a timely fashion
• Guide prospective clients on implementing Qontigo's advanced tools (custom models, Alpha Alignment Factor, multiple risk models in single optimizations, etc.) to achieve superior results
• Work with dedicated existing clients to help them extract maximum value from Qontigo products and ensure high levels product utilization, resulting in high retention
• Provide feedback to the Product Management team in ongoing efforts to improve and expand Qontigo’s product capabilities
• Work with prospective clients to help them understand the unique value of Qontigo products
• Educate clients on new product features relevant to their subscription
• Provide subject-matter expertise on optimization, risk models, APIs, and portfolio analytics
• Understand prospective clients’ needs and current workflows and train them on the effective use of software and risk models
• Team with implementation experts on product installation and integration in client environments

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience with portfolio optimization, analytics, and performance attribution
• Understanding of the use of APIs (Java, Python, R, Webservices, Matlab) is a plus
• Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, finance, econometrics, or operations research
• Experience with factor risk models
• 4+ years of experience in quantitative finance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• The anticipated base salary range for this position is 148 288 USD. The final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location, experience, and qualifications
