Associate Manager, Indirect Sourcing

Summary:

Kendo is looking for an Associate Manager to join the Indirect Sourcing team reporting into the Director. This individual should be detail-oriented and motivated while managing various Indirect category projects as the team grows. The Associate Manager will support the Indirect Sourcing Director with tasks such as KPI reports, data collection and analysis. This person should be eager to learn and provide constructive feedback in the further development of the Indirect Sourcing team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Indirect projects (Currently Accessories – GWP/ NSG/ etc. – Project types expected to expand); Requesting and collecting Supplier competitive bids, negotiate, award business, and complete various internal tasks such as issuing COGs Summaries to budget owners for cost approval, Trade Agreements, submitting Business Awards to awarded Suppliers, updating internal performance/ productivity tracker
• Assist in vendor set up and onboarding, when needed
• Candidate willing to contribute to broader company objectives
• Candidate expected to attend and provide project status updates to internal team members for all brands
• Candidate to regroup with Director 1-2x weekly for updates and/or inquiries

Requirements:

Attention to detail + impeccable organization skills

Advanced Excel skills

Strong communication skills – via virtual, in person, and email

Experience working with Suppliers + Internal, cross-functional departments

2-4 years Purchasing/ Sourcing background needed

Must maintain confidentiality
