Associate Manager (Finance) Jobs

Responsibilities

• Communicate product information and reporting progress clearly and confidently to team members, management, peers, prospects and clients.
• Work collaboratively and professionally on strategic goals for the team.
• Meet highly challenging deadlines with high-quality deliverables and be accountable for those deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with clients
• Find solutions to analytical problems independently.
• Lead prospect pitches, contribute to sales campaigns and drive the progression of the sales cycle to win new business.
• Drive strategic projects, from a business development, business management and product development standpoint with the aim of building our client base.
• Provide appropriate information for progress reporting to head of department and senior management.
• Establish a network of positive working relationships with members of other teams across locations and leverage this to achieve goals.
• Ownership of complex implementations of our platform; this will include leading the coordination of work across a number of internal and external teams, scope out of client requirements, driving the project plan to successful completion and leading the design of optimal data models to cater for bespoke reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the ideas-based culture of the team, by suggesting new projects, product development or new approaches to existing projects that will drive revenue generation.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of capital markets products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A mathematics, economics or business degree from a reputable university
• Demonstrable experience of tailoring solutions to meet specific requirements, and subsequently attempting to automate
• Highly proficient MS Excel skills
• A logical mind, capable of implementing and improving structured processes
• Professional qualification advantageous – CFA / CIMA / ACCA / ACA
• Composed, experienced and professional in client interaction
• Excellent leadership skills and experience with rapid team growth
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex analytical problems
• Substantial experience in the finance industry. Such as working in; investment banking, asset management or financial services
• Fast learner, able to pick up and understand new requirements seamlessly and adapt quickly to new approaches and technologies.
