Associate Faculty - Social Work - Part-Time (Virtual)

• As a faculty member you’ll be challenged with adding your professional expertise to instruct a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives.
• Provide timely and detailed feedback on a weekly basis and offer student support via classroom, phone, and email.
• Utilize classroom learning system technology (provided by university), the Internet, and Microsoft Office software.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Master's Degree or higher in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program
• Must have a current license as a Clinical Social Worker
• Must have Three (3) years of applicable professional experience in Social Work with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience must be within the last 7 years

ADDITIONAL/PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Acceptable professional positions/professional responsibilities can include but are not limited to experience in social work, aging, child welfare, health care social work, international social work, leadership in social work, professional advocate, justice and corrections, helping people obtain tangible services, mental health, counseling, psychotherapy with individuals, families, and/or groups, helping communities or groups, provide or improve social and health services, participating in legislative processes, policy and planning, and/or policy maker. All professional experience must reflect an association to the concepts of social work and can include but are not limited to the professional application of social work values, principles, and/or techniques.
• Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
