Summary
The Stuart Weitzman Creative team is seeking a skilled Associate Designer, Digital to join the Creative team, reporting to the Senior Design Manager, Digital. This role will be to create engaging designs and layouts that reinforce the brand’s visual language to support global marketing, business needs and brand-building initiatives, inclusive of ecommerce, digital marketing, campaign execution support, interactive experiences and more. The ideal candidate will be able to create innovative, compelling design solutions that balance art and commerce, as well as be a creative thinker, passionate designer, skilled and open collaborator, and an artist at heart.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Create consumer-driven, on-brand designs for Stuart Weitzman's global marketing initiatives and digital platforms, including the website, social media, email campaigns, lookbooks and digital advertisements.
  • Work closely with the Creative, Editorial and Content Operations teams to execute content strategy plans in a manner that is on time and on brand.
  • Produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, and multimedia content that align with brand guidelines.
  • Assist on e-Commerce Photoshoots.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Stuart Weitzman brand, target audience, and market trends to inform design decisions.
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills And Abilities Required
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a strong command of digital design principles, including web and mobile design, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experienced in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma
  • Flexibility to adapt to feedback from stakeholders and leadership.
  • Animation skills preferred.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices, with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive and visually appealing digital designs.
  • Experience creating responsive designs optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Clear understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong understanding and experience with digital retouching and image production.
Education And Experience Required
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing software.
  • Proven understanding of e-Commerce platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is a plus.
  • 2-3 Years of proven experience as a digital designer, preferably in the fashion or luxury industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
