Associate Creative Director, Art

As the Associate Creative Director, Art, you will develop and execute creative marketing to solve client and agency challenges. Reporting to the creative director, you will focus on all aspects of the creative product, collaborating with the team to generate ideas that are on strategy, on brand, and inspiring to clients and broader audiences. You will acts as a hands-on creative leader, both leading the team and developing the work, providing strategic direction, insightful feedback, inspiring design, and mentoring of talent.

Responsibilities:

• Lead creative kick-off meetings with account and strategy partners; provide direction to the team on roles and deliverables; drive inspiration and clarity
• Partner with the Creative Directors and broader team to concept and refine ideas across media
• Ability to mentor junior members of the department and lead by example
• Works collaboratively to push creative work to a higher aesthetic
• Interpret briefs to discover insights and foundations for creative development
• Develop and present creative work with confidence
• Generate original ideas, deliver constructive critique, and foster a culture of collaboration and team building
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor(s)
• Review the work of Art Directors and Copywriters and direct and improve their efforts
• Professionally represents rEvolution in the marketplace
• Spearhead creative brainstorms and provide input on concepting ideas based on knowledge of current trends, pop culture, and current and past design themes

Requirements:

• Portfolio of produced creative work
• Knowledge, background and/or interest in sports and sponsorships
• A savvy and sensitive manager of personnel
• Comfort and confidence when presenting creative work
• A minimum of 7 years' experience working full-time within marketing at a creative agency
• Excellent conceptual vision and a compelling design style / POV
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and related applications
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism
• Willingness to travel on occasion
• A photoshop wizard with the demonstrated ability to depict ideas, experiences, and campaigns…as if the concepts were real
• An impressive history working as a Senior Art Director

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office but has a global reach.
