The T!LT Group is a strategic communications agency built around a great team of talented, creative, out-of-the-box thinkers who love what they do. What do we do, you ask? We partner with our clients to create transformative experiences and galvanize their audiences around a common vision.
We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Art Director/Creative Manager to join our dynamic creative team. Yep, that's right, we're seeking a rare left-brain/right-brain unicorn who's got both a keen eye for design and project management superpowers. This T!LTed Thinker will be responsible for leading a team of design and media professionals to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization and execution of presentations, print, video, social and other media and ensuring that all creative outputs align with the brand vision and strategic objectives of our clients.
In short, you'll support a team of creative masterminds, make sure everything is organized and on track, and be a creative matchmaker to ensure the right resources are assigned to each project. You'll also be the go-to person for all things warm and fuzzy, building relationships, and making sure everyone feels valued and supported. It's like being the captain of a spaceship but with more design and fewer aliens.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Lead the Visual Communications team
- Oversee daily tasks tied to creative production.
- Work closely with event producers, technical directors, and other key stakeholders to ensure that all creative elements are seamlessly integrated into the overall event production.
- Lead the design team, and provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of creative projects.
- Ensure quality control and process management for all visual communications produced by the team, including reviewing all materials for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage the production of all event materials, including print, digital, social, marketing, and environmental graphics, and ensure that all deliverables are produced to a high standard.
- Oversee the development of all creative assets, including graphic design, signage, marketing collateral, and other visual elements.
- Collaborate with the event production team and clients to develop creative concepts, designs, and themes that align with the event objectives and brand vision.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event production, creative services, and design.
Be a creative matchmaker
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative People, Head of Production, and Project Producers to ensure the right design resources are assigned to each project.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership to schedule staff and freelance support in a manner that aligns with project requirements and resource availability.
- Work with the Head of Production, Head of Creative People, and members of the leadership team to establish workload assignments and timelines.
Warm Fuzzy People Stuff
- Ensure our staff and freelancers feel valued, supported, and “part of the team.”
- Respond quickly to client needs and build trust to strengthen the relationship.
- Build and maintain relationships with staff and our extensive freelance community to attract and channel the best talent for T!LT projects. Motivate, support, and check in on staff and freelance artists and designers.
What are you getting yourself into? You’ll need:
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event production, creative services, or related field.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of skills and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
Why would you want to work with T!LT?
- We provide health and benefits that are some of the best in the business (seriously!)
- A great team to work with and learn from.
- Discover your true potential and deliver mind-blowing results.
- Opportunity to grow and advance.
- Plenty of room to be creative and have fun.
- Work from home. Or someone else’s home, or Starbucks, we don’t care, but you can’t stay here. There’s no ‘here’ here. We’re everywhere.
Please include a design portfolio with all applications. Thank you!
