Role Responsibilities


This role is responsible for partnering with the various parts of the MSS organization to understand the environment, risks, and controls and provide independent review and challenge of risk self-assessments and controls. Work closely with the risk leaders to support their risk assessment process, understand and supervise KRI’s, and bring a consistent assessment of risk and monitoring across the organization. Building out KRI’s and working with the broader ERM team to operationalize a corporate KRI dashboard. Partner with audit and controls groups to share risk insights, provide prospective on prioritization and areas of focus and support a unified assurance model. Develop and draft management risk reporting and report regularly on areas of top risks, including drivers.


Functional Responsibilities include:


  • Develop and maintain enterprise reports supporting Risk dashboards and senior level reporting. Help tell the story of the current state of Enterprise risk.
  • Work on various risk projects focused on specific risk categories handled by central risk.
  • Partner with business organizations and risk owners to support risk identification and assessment efforts.
  • Partner with various groups to build out an enterprise set of KRI’s and operationalize the collection and reporting of KRI’s to form a broader Risk KRI program.
  • Work with risk functions to understand the unique risks to their businesses and provide an independent challenge to the risk assessment and mitigation activities with an enterprise view.
  • Lead a small team to support data analytics and risk assessments


Qualifications


  • Able to work both self-directed and as part of a team
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Knowledge and use of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) reporting tools
  • CPA or similar designation a plus
  • Thinks critically and is able to identify problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Consistent record to effectively collaborate with a diverse, global and cross-functional teams and large-scale projects. Ability to influence cross-functionally and enterprise-wide; Assertive 2nd line Risk responsibility to challenge and influence in a highly consultative and effective manner
  • Prior experience working with senior leaders in a functional or strategic capacity
  • Data analytics capabilities
  • 10+ Years in Risk Management with an operational and top risks background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Graduate degree and/or relevant professional risk management qualification a plus
  • Management experience

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $113,800 to $165,100, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
