Assistant Project Manager Jobs

• May travel up to 30%.
• Performing tasks related to all aspects of acquisition project management in and Agile environment.
• Responsible for setting and meeting project milestones and development of project deliverables such as requirements definition, schedule, program protection plan, and customer presentations.
• Assessing the requirements of the project and provide information to the APM that enable him/her to make properly informed decisions.
• Communicating with the system developer to ensure all milestone activities are being met and completed on time.
• Representing or accompanying the APM in/to customer meetings.

• Ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
• Experience working in Government contracting and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DoD Directive 5000.01, 02 and 02T.
• The minimum years of related experience required: 8.
• Proven SATCOM experience.
• Proficiency in the Agile Management process.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Project Management Certification is desirable, but not required.

• U.S. Citizen
• Secret Clearance
